Colorado Emergency Medical Services Chiefs, Managers, and Directors
The Colorado EMS Chiefs, Managers and Directors (EMS-CMD) represents the interests of executives and officials responsible for the delivery of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and ambulance transportation to communities within Colorado. The group also serves to advocate best practices and ethical conduct in the management and leadership of EMS and medical transportation organizations.
Membership in the association is open to individuals who serve in senior management positions of organizations that provide EMS care to communities within Colorado. Membership is open to all service types and sizes. The primary goals of Colorado EMS-CMD for 2009 are to:
- Support joint Colorado EMS-CMD - EMSAC advocacy at the state level.
- Establish a management resources area on the EMSAC web site.
- Sponsor and support EMS leadership training within the state.
- Open a dialog on EMS issues with the health insurance industry.
