Each year in May, Emergency Medical Services communities from across the nation join together to celebrate EMS Week.
A highlight of Colorado’s EMS Week activities is the EMS Awards Gala and Fundraising Auction, attended by more than 200 members of the community who recognize the extraordinary efforts and contributions of dedicated EMS personnel in the delivery of emergency care to the citizens of Colorado.
The provision of emergency medical services is a high-risk profession and more than 20 percent of the Colorado-certified emergency personnel from both rural and urban communities are volunteers. These dedicated individuals must have specialized training and ongoing education to ensure that the best emergency care is available for the citizens of Colorado.
The Fundraising Auction is an important part of EMS Week activities that helps to raise much-needed funds for education and training scholarships for EMS professionals throughout Colorado. It is through the generous support of many companies and individuals that our EMS Week activities are successful.
We ask for your support through a financial contribution or a donation of products or services for this year's Auction.
Simply complete and return the Auction Donation form as soon as possible. Contributors will be acknowledged in our official Auction catalog and on our web site at www.EMSAC.org.
